Muslims these days?...

As salamo alikum to all Brothers and Sisters:
I live in Houston, Tx. I am 26, born muslim, married with 3 children, attending University of Houston, and have a full life.

I have been thinking of the akhira a lot lately and I want to get other people's opinions on a few things. In this world we live in today it is so hard to keep from the ma'si and do the right ranging from the husband to the children. I was thinking of the Ahadeeth that I hear from the islamic lessons on how the prophet and his families conducted their lives. I can't get myself to live that kind of life and I feel guilty. I don't know what to do about it. A few examples of the issues that bother me are: My children don't know as much Quran as I want them to know.
My hijab isn't all that good.
I listen to music.
Waste time.

just to mention a few.

Ok to put it plainly I want some input on how, or what I should do to change my life islamicly. And do you'll believe that because times have chaged so much then it changes the way we are supposed to practice deen? Feel free to add any other comments.
